A man named Abu Tayeb Habildar himself has claimed that he had 69 bombs stockpiled for the purpose of blowing up the Secretariat! This is not merely an allegation; he himself has boasted that he had 69 bombs stored with him to destroy the Secretariat. He has also claimed that there was a plan to attack the Secretariat using these explosives if Sheikh Hasina had not left the country on August 5.

The most concerning issue is that these alleged bombs have still not been destroyed or neutralized, and it is also not known with certainty where they have been kept. As a result, concerns have arisen that these explosives could be used at any time to pose a major threat to the lives and security of state installations, government officials and employees, and ordinary people.

The Secretariat is the focal point of the country’s administrative activities. A threat to blow up such an important installation cannot be taken lightly in any way. If the allegation is true, this is not merely an individual crime; rather, it poses a direct threat to state security, public safety, and national stability.

In this situation, the law enforcement agencies and relevant intelligence agencies should immediately investigate the allegation. In the interest of the investigation, it is essential to arrest Abu Tayeb Habildar under the Explosives Act and interrogate him, identify the location where he allegedly stored the large quantity of explosives, and conduct a raid there to recover and neutralize the explosives.

At the same time, his potential associates must be identified, the source of the explosives must be investigated, and coordinated security measures must be taken to prevent any possible act of sabotage. If necessary, a rapid operation should be conducted in coordination with expert bomb-disposal teams and law enforcement agencies. At the same time, in the interest of state security, it is essential to take swift action without neglecting any potential risk.

There is no scope for delay when it comes to protecting the country’s security and the lives of its people. This is not merely an allegation against Abu Tayeb Habildar; it is his own boastful statement. Therefore, verifying the truth through investigation, recovering and neutralizing the explosives, and taking strict legal action against those responsible are now an urgent responsibility of the state. The relevant authorities must take immediate and effective measures to protect the country from any potential act of sabotage.
